The calm before the storm…these are some before and after pictures for phase II for the Davidson house. Reno starts tomorrow. We have already completed the opening up of the load-bearing wall to open up the living area and installed dark hardwood on the first floor. Next up…new counter tops and backsplash in the kitchen.

Some recent progress photos for the Davidson house kitchen remodel. All demo has been complete.

We had an issue with the counter install. The kitchen sink was broken during the installation, so this halted our counter top installation mid-way. We had to wait for a replacement sink to arrive, but some of the tile install was started today. We picked a light gray grout with the classic subway tile to contrast the white cabinets and quartz counters. Looking good despite some setbacks.

The counters, tiles, and sink were finally installed. We are still waiting on some final items until this project is done. We still need outlet covers, and re-painting the new drywall and patching. Almost done! What do you all think so far?
