Project Summary

This was a recent project in Winston Salem, NC where a mixed-use commercial investment property loan was secured by one of our recommended lenders to initially purchase this property as a package deal with the second property attached at the rear of the building.

The purchase was brokered through our brokerage firm, Wayfinder Homes, where the purchase price was expertly negotiated so that the client was able to secure this mixed-use commercial building for significantly less than the original ask price.

We coordinated with various contractors to perform renovations, repairs, and the final staging of the property along with setting up the software, property listing, marketing, photography, and business operations to make this property a top performing AirBnB (short-term rental/mid-term rental).

The end goal was to rent this property for premium rent and then to sale it as a turnkey rental property to another investor. Ironically at the same time our brokerage firm, Wayfinder Homes, was rapidly growing and we needed to acquire an office space in a great location. Eventually this property was converted back to an office space and it now houses our Wayfinder Homes and Wayfinder Consulting firms.
